MADRASSAH CLASSES
The mosque runs madrassah classes for children above the age of 5 years on school days, from 4.00 p.m. until maghrib. Children learn to read the Qur’an and the curriculum also includes Islamic Studies, Fiqh, and Ahadiths.
Separate hifz classes are also held for those children who have completed reading the Qur’an.
At present there are about 60 boys and 40 girls in the madrassah. In addition there are 15 boys and 10 girls attending the hifz classes.
Sheikh Ahmad Talaat is in charge of the madrassah and he is assisted by 5 other
teachers.
